Operators
Logos is inviting early supporters to join its network state technology stack through a Bitcoin Ordinals collection. Inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision, Logos Operators are the portal to an ecosystem dedicated to building parallel societies. In May, Logos inscribed the largest ever Bitcoin block (a rare Nakamoto Satoshi) with the Logos manifesto as a pre-launch to the collection.
Become a Logos Operator
The competition is heating up for a spot on the Logos Operators darklist ahead of the mint. On Exit Game, you can now take a test to discover your archetype—each of the ten archetypes represents a unique role you can play in parallel society development, from hacker to community builder.
OP1 recently spoke on the Bitcoin.com podcast, where they discussed the collection launch and how Operators can engage in building parallel societies with Logos.
Join OP1’s Spaces every Tuesday and every other Thursday at 3 PM UTC. The Operators explore topics such as constructing parallel societies with the Logos technology stack, different approaches to network states, and how these concepts intersect with Ordinals and Bitcoin.
Additionally, don’t miss the Operator Roll Call every other Thursday at 7 PM UTC, featuring a quiz night centred on selected readings about cypherpunk ideas and network states. The next event is on September 12th, with the reading to be announced in the Intel channel. Join the discussion here.
OP1 and the Logos Operators will also sponsor Inscribing Singapore and Bitcoin Amsterdam. Be sure to visit their booth to learn more about the collections, how to onboard, and a special opportunity to secure a darklist spot.

Codex
Partnership
Codex developed a new partnership with Conduit, the rollup framework platform. Codex will deliver its archival storage solutions to rollups leveraging Conduit. The partnership is intended to prepare Codex for entering the market and offering services to the rollup ecosystem.
Events
Codex was deeply involved at EthCC 2024 in Brussels, Belgium, from July 8 to 11th. Research engineer Ben from Codex gave a talk called '‘Codex: Data Durability Engine & DSN’' for Depin:Con during EthCC, exploring the frontiers of decentralised data storage and durability.
During Web3Social Day, put on by Mask Network, the team provided a 'Data Durability Engine' workshop on using Codex. Researchers Ben, Eric, and Tomasz led the workshop, walking the attendees through spinning up a Codex node, learning about the data marketplace, and downloading an image. Later in the day, the team spoke on the panel ‘Decentralized Social vs. Web3 Social.’
Marina, the growth lead for Codex, spoke on a panel at the Building Network States event. The topic is 'Spectrums of Sovereignty,' where the panellists discussed sovereignty concerning the growing network state ecosystem.
At the main EthCC event, Csaba with Codex presented ‘Journey from Blobs to Data Availability Sampling.’
The team also set up a booth and handed out sweet Codex gear to the attendees, which was a huge success. Codex believes in durable and persistent data storage and also durable and persistent merch!
Guru also participated in the ‘Bridging data from web2 to web3’ panel at Eth Tokyo, along with co-panelists from ETHStorage and Privacy Scaling Explorations (Ethereum Foundation). Feedback regarding the various pain points in the currently available web3 storage SDKs was a hot topic.
Research
Testnet
The team is gearing up for the full launch of the testnet this month. The latest version of Codex can be accessed using the Codex Testnet Starter documentation.
Codex White Paper
Codex White Paper, which underscores and defines the idea of a “decentralised durability engine” (DDE), is under continuous review.
Development
Productionalizing the codebase for the marketplace and client team will also stabilise the DDE and prepare it for scalability and growth. The marketplace team's work on tokenisation coordination and basic marketplace interactions continues. For the client, the team is focusing on hardening it and ingesting product feedback. Work continues on the proving system.
